So I'm officially engaged to Jacob Ellsworth, and I'm soo excited! 
This guy is the best! (and i'm not just saying that...even ask my mom or anyone else who knows him)

1. How'd he do it?
We were in Tempe on the lake in pedal boats. We were just talking and pedaling when he suddenly was turning towards me and getting down on one knee (or attempting to...it's NOT easy in a pedal boat). He asked and I said yes. Then I made fun of him for trying to kneel in the boat.
sidenote--I knew it was coming since a. he was leaving the next day to be in Texas ALL summer :( and b. he's bad at lying. But I was still a little surprised tha he did it right THEN.
2. When?

Love that ring! He is definitely a keeper! Richard and I were talking about it and we've decided that Jacob is really cool (not that our opinion really matters). He is so helpful and kind and happy and the best part is that it's all GENUINE! He isn't trying so hard to impress everyone, he is just that nice. Anyway, that's the impression we got. We are so excited for you both!
