'Tis the Season

Though this holiday season doesn't feel quite as "christmassy" away from home, finals are gross, and a white chritmas is more of a nightmare of mine than a dream, I'm still finding ways to enjoy it. On Saturday we all went to see the temple lights in Salt Lake which was cool(I still like Mesa's better). Then on Sunday, me and my roomies were feeling pretty crafty so we decorated the apartment with our very limited resources. The result was lights hanging everywhere and the transformation of our TV stand into a fireplace. Don't get jealous..

On Monday, Jacob got us a real live Christmas tree! Who's ever heard of such a thing?! Our decorations for that were pretty limited as well, so we began stringing the popcorn.

The finished product...it even smells good.

I bet all the other people are jealous of your big full tree. It looks good. Good Luck with your finals.

That is the most CLEVER (CLEAVER) oh whatever, cutest fireplace! And the picture of the temple lights is very cute too. so are the people in it. As much as I love snow, I am SOOOOOOO glad my kids hate it because then maybe they will all end up within driving distance to me! SELFISH
