OUR Commercial

hi. my name is jacob. I'm a special guest because I'm marrying natalli. My new nieces and nephews let us know that we are actually really famous. We have our own commercial or there is a commercial where the people look like us? My new family is sooooo cool! I am so blessed to be able to marry someone so amazing and to become a part of such a great family! I am pretty excited if you can't tell. anyway here is the vid. They call it "Jacob and natalli"




We are pretty much the same as the people in the vid in that we are very far apart this summer and we think about each other all the time! and i tend to do cheesy stuff at times on accident. My new nieces and nephews are so much fun! anyways, less than one month!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!

Mexico

Jacob came home to me so that we could see Wicked and go to Mexico with his family!

We stayed here. Its an upgrade from the trailer (though the old Smith tradition still holds a place in my heart and is an equally fun adventure)

I made a new friend! Why can I only make friends with people under the age of ten?

This is my new mom. She is cool because she pulled our train with a kayak

This is my boyfriend/fiance/bff. I love him (even though he doesnt support his own school).

stop it. I don't think anyone looks good in snorkling gear.

Then he had to go back to Texas. I hate hate hate saying goodbye..
But I never have to ever again!!!

Great News!

The 5-year-old version of Dwight Shrute is in one of my swim classes!

Not only does he look exactly like Dwight, he knows everything about all sorts of creatures. I am so happy!

Unfortunately, I don't think i'm allowed to take pictures of the kids, so this will have to suffice..use your imagination.

how i spend my time

I was in Hobby Lobby when I recognized the tune of "As Zions Youth in Latter Days" playing throughout the store, followed by various fancy instrumental arrangments of LDS hymns.. interesting. It actually made walking down endless isles of beads and paint kinda peacful.

On a less happy note, I really dislike sunburns, night lessons, and the smell of chlorine... oh and when kids clubs come to the pool (4598 kids with 4 adults)
I do, however, love my tadpoles!

We Got More BOunCe in California

For the past three years, it has been tradition to take a little roadtrip to cali with my girls. It's always a blast.. and this may be my last one :(

A few of my favorite moments from each trip:

Trip #1-

-building sandcastles

-fun checks (became a trip tradition)

-the AMAZING continental breakfast consisting of stale pastries and tang

-being car-stalked by some young cowboys.. i believe the bumper sticker read "rednecks always come out on top"

Trip # 2

-staying with a lady who made incredible animal noises and had many funny stories

- photo shoots

-nearly running out of gas in the middle of nowhere

-exile island/skinny driving

Trip # 3

-stank faces

-crazy man who posed a very thought-provoking question: "Is there such thing as college? or is it just a bunch of guys wanting to ya??"

-the parking garage of death
